Harry Redknapp has yet again worked his magic on Tottenham. When arriving he took a team that was in the relegation battle to a very respectful top table finish, and he did it with style. He then out did himself again with some stellar purchases in the market and creating an entertaining brand of football proving that there are now 2 teams to be reckoned with in North London. Harry lead his team to their first ever Champion League and got them to the quarter finals of the competition, further than their cross town rivals, which was a huge accomplishment in itself. Though sadly for Spurs fans the team just narrowly missed out on the Champions League this upcoming season, and rumors have been flying about what will happen with their 3 most prized assets (Modric, Bale, Van Der Vaart). But not to worry because Redknapp and Daniel Levy have made it clear that none are for sale at any price, and that the club will only be selling players they don’t need to fund moves and to add their 3 superstars as opposed to selling any of them. That in itself has boosted the confidence of team and supporters as it seems Harry has convinced Luka Modric to sign an improved contract which would make him the highest paid player at the club at a reported £90,000 per week. What more can you say except that he’s Harry and he’s got the magic touch.
